Nobel Prize for three scientists who teach the universe

The 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics has been jointly awarded to three scientists.

The award is given to scientists James Peebles, Mikel Meyer, and Dider Queloz for their contribution to understanding the origin of the universe and its structure.

Announcing the award on Tuesday, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said Peebles had been awarded half and scientist Mayor and Queloz half. Is the Nobel Prize Distributor for the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.


Jim Peebles


    The scientist James (Jim) Peebles was born in Canada on April 25, 1935(age 84). He later studied and made America America's workplace. Peebles, who earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Manitoba, completed his PhD from Princeton University.

84-year-old scientist Peebles has made a significant contribution to the theoretical structure of the universe. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics on 2019.

Books have been published including Pebble's Quantum Mechanics (1992), Principles of Physical Cosmology (1993), Finding the Big Bang (2009).

Mikel Meyer


The scientist Mikel Meyer is a citizen of Switzerland. He was Born in january 1942. He received his PhD in 1971 from the Geneva Observatory on astronomy.

Dider Qyailos


Quelos is the youngest scientist to receive the Novel Prize in Physics for 2019. He was born in Switzerland in 1966. 

In 1959, as a PhD student at the University of Geneva, scientist Queloz discovered the key to understanding the structure of the universe. Quelez, along with his PhD guide scientist Mikel Meyer, discovered a planet beyond the solar system orbiting a star like the sun. He was awarded the Novel Prize for his contribution.
