Corona Vaccine Was Created By mRNA Technology. What is mRNA Technology ? Who Created This Technology ?

The wait for Corona's vaccine is just about to end. Pfizer and Biotech vaccines have been approved in the UK. Another American company Moderna has also sought approval for the emergency use of the vaccine. Both these vaccines have been developed on technology based on messenger-RNA i.e. mRNA and both are up to 95% effective. Such vaccines use mRNA, which tells the body what kind of protein to make to fight the virus? But what is this technology? And who made it?

What Is The First Thing mRNA Technology?

mRNA or messenger-RNA is a small part of the genetic code that makes proteins in our cells (cells). It can also be understood in simple language that when a virus or bacteria attacks our body, mRNA technology sends the message to our cells to make proteins to fight that virus or bacteria. With this, our immune system gets the protein it needs and makes antibodies in our body.

Its biggest advantage is that it can produce vaccines more quickly than conventional vaccines. In addition to this, the immunity of the body is also strengthened. This is the first time a vaccine based on mRNA technology is being created in the world.

Now come on scientists who develop mRNA technology…

1. Caitlin Carico: Who Made mRNA Technology

Caitlin Carico also did PHD on RNA technology in 1980

Caitlin Carico was born on 17 October 1955 in Hungary. Kariko worked at RNA at Saged University in Hungary for many years. In 1985, he sold his car in the black market for $ 1200 and moved to the US. Here he started work on mRNA technology at the University of Pennsylvania.

mRNA was discovered in 1961, but even now scientists are trying to find out how it can make protein in the body? Kariko wanted to work on it. But they lacked funding. In 1990, Kariko's boss at Pennsylvania University told him that you should either quit the job or get demoted. Cars were demoted. Kariko wanted to make vaccines and drugs for chronic diseases.

At the same time, research was going on all over the world that whether mRNA can be used to make special antibodies to fight viral? In 1997, Drew Wiseman came to the University of Pennsylvania. Drew was a famous immunologist. Drew funded Cariko. Later both of them started working on this technology by partnering. In 2005, Drew and Carico published a research paper that claimed that immunity could be increased through modified mRNA, which could also lead to many disease drugs and vaccines.

However, no one paid attention to his research for many years. In 2010, American scientist Darrick Rossi opened the biotech company Moderna to make vaccines from modified mRNA. In 2013 Cariko was appointed Senior Vice President at the German company BioNotech. For this technology, Darrick Rosie has also demanded the Nobel Prize for Caitlin Carico and Drew Wiseman.

2. Ur Sahin and Ozlom Turasi : Launched Biotech Company

Ur Saheen and his wife Ozloom Turasi founded BioNotech in 2008

(Make Corona Vaccines using mRNA Technology)

Ur Sahin and his wife Ozlom Turaisi, a resident of Turkey, are the first scientific entrepreneurs. Ur Sahin came to Germany with his parents when he was 4 years old. Whereas, Turasi was born to a Turkish Physician. Turasi first wanted to be a nun.

In 2008, Ur Sahin and Ozlom Turasi started a biotech company in Germany. Ur is the Chief Executive Officer of the company and his wife is the Chief Medical Officer. Initially, Ur and his wife were doing research on monoclonal antibodies to treat cancer. Later he started research on mRNA technology.
